Today, as we celebrate the birthdays of our esteemed? leaders, Jiddere musa kaibo , Dr Ijeoma Emeagi nee Agwamba FNCS, MCPN, MFAWE, MNITPS, and Epua Odiahi, we reflect on their exemplary contributions to building a pipeline of women leaders in education.?

Jiddere Musa Kaibo (4/17/2024), our esteemed Country Chair and former Dean of the Department at the College of Education, Yola, stands as a beacon of inspiration and resilience. Her journey from academia to leadership has been marked by dedication, innovation, and a deep commitment to gender mainstreaming in education. Through her leadership, she has nurtured and mentored countless educators, fostering a culture of excellence and inclusivity across FAWE Nigeria network and chapters.

Celebrate Dr. Ijeoma Emeagi (4/16/2024), our current Secretary of the Board, brings a wealth of experience as a digital transformation advocate, encouraging women and girls to embrace the use of technology and a role model for girls in ICT and STEM education.

Last month, we celebrated the birthday of our National Coordinator at the Secretariat, Epua Odiahi, whose tireless efforts and strategic vision have propelled our organization forward in its mission to promote gender equality in education. Her dedication to empowering women and girls, has been instrumental in shaping policies and programs that foster inclusivity and diversity in our educational landscape.


Our Finance Officer, @Precious Ekpo whose contribution remains invaluable to our operations, embodies the spirit of astute diligence that underpins our organization's success.


As we honor these remarkable women leaders on their special days, we also acknowledge the challenges they have faced and the opportunities they have seized along the way. The path to leadership is not always smooth, and yet, they have persevered, breaking barriers and paving the way for others to follow.


The challenges they have encountered, from navigating gender biases to balancing professional and personal responsibilities, highlight the systemic issues that still exist within our educational institutions. However, their resilience and determination serve as a testament to the progress we have made and the potential for even greater achievements in the future.
