In 2024, FinCorp’s Goroka Branch emerged as the Team of the Year, standing out among our five branches. At the heart of this achievement is the inspiring leadership of Hekoi Nana, our Goroka Branch Manager. Her dedication, resilience, and drive have made the branch a model of excellence.?
Success didn’t come without its hurdles. 2024 was a year of challenges, but as Albert Einstein once said, "Opportunities lie in the middle of difficulties.” Rather than seeing obstacles as setbacks, Hekoi and her team turned them into stepping stones. Through open communication, teamwork, and a proactive mindset, they not only overcame difficulties but grew stronger as a team actively meeting all their sales targets.

Beyond the office, Hekoi is a devoted family and community member. Living in Goroka Town, known for its breathtaking landscapes and rich culture, she finds balance between work and family. She credits her supportive family for keeping her grounded, saying, “Having a strong team at work and at home makes all the difference.”?
Her team describes her as a leader who genuinely cares about their growth and well-being. This sense of unity is reflected in their shared commitment to excellence.?
For Hekoi and the Goroka Branch, success doesn’t end here. Their goal for 2025 is to not only maintain but surpass their record-breaking performance. As Hekoi puts it, “With teamwork, determination, and a clear vision, we are ready to set the bar even higher.”?
