Thank you for the countless sleepless nights you have spent nurturing me and ensuring my well-being. Your commitment to creating a safe and loving environment is evident in every moment you rise in the darkness to tend to my needs. From comforting me during late-night cries to helping me with homework, you have always put my happiness and growth above everything else. Your tireless efforts have shaped me into the person I am today.

I still remember those times when Dad said, "Ab chalta hu Sharma ji, beti ko maths padhana hai." It was a simple sentence, but it held so much meaning for me. It wasn't just about teaching me math; it was about the dedication and love he had for my education. Those words were a promise, a commitment to ensuring my success and shaping my future.

And then there was Mom, always getting caught up in conversations with Mittal Aunty near the gate. I can still picture her standing there, engrossed in their discussions. But amidst those interactions, she would suddenly realize the time and exclaim, "Arey ab jaane do, kal phir aaungi, beti ka school se aane ka waqt ho gaya hai." It was her way of telling Mittal Aunty that she needed to go, that her priority was me, her daughter.

You willingly chose to spend more time with us rather than indulging in your own comfortable and happy friend circle. I understand that you made this sacrifice to create a loving and supportive environment for me, even if it meant missing out on precious moments with your friends.?

You know, Three days ago, I went on a team lunch and because three of my colleagues wanted to eat dimsums, I had to eat and my mood for the whole day was ruined. In the simplest moments, like when I crave my favorite Hakka noodles while your taste buds long for the flavors of home in the form of delicious litti chokha, your selflessness shines through. You have always put my comfort and needs above your own, willingly setting aside your own meals and desires. Your acts of love, so profound and pure, serve as a constant reminder of the depth of your devotion and the lasting impact you have on every facet of my life.

Many times, I actually switch off my phone and laptop to enjoy my “Me time”. Reflecting on our journey together, I now realize that I was blind to the fact that you, too, yearned for moments of tranquility and solitude, away from the demands of parenthood. I deeply regret not fully acknowledging your need for rejuvenation, for moments when you could simply be yourselves, free from the weight of parental responsibilities. Please know that I am now aware of this, and I want to encourage you to prioritize your own well-being and personal fulfillment. Your selflessness deserves the utmost reverence, and I am forever grateful for your unwavering dedication and love.

From the very moment I was conceived, my dear parents, you embarked on an extraordinary journey of unwavering love and selflessness. And now, as a daughter, you have taken upon yourselves the monumental task of saving for my future wedding, a celebration that demands a lifetime of savings and sacrifices. It deeply saddens me to witness how some parents, in certain areas, are forced to take loans or offer dowries to secure their daughter's happiness (although I am strictly against it). These acts of immense sacrifice and love serve as a stark reminder of the boundless lengths you go to provide me with a bright and secure future. Your selflessness and dedication are a testament to your unconditional love, and I am forever grateful for the immeasurable sacrifices you have made on my behalf.

Dad, I will never forget the day of my board exams. Despite being struck by a high fever, you selflessly chose to prioritize my well-being above your own. You mustered every ounce of strength to drop me off at the exam center and anxiously awaited my return, ready to offer your unwavering support. At that moment, I couldn't help but wonder, is it true that once you become a parent, you put your own well-being on the backburner?

Mom and Dad, you are the unsung heroes who work tirelessly behind the scenes to create a nurturing and loving environment for your children. Your support, guidance, and encouragement have shaped my life and inspired me to become the best version of myself. In a world filled with distractions, you remain the steady pillars of strength, providing me with solace and security.
