Celebrating Two Years of Joy with “Finding Joy in the Journey: A Flawed Masterpiece" Short Film
On October 31, 2021, I released what would become an award-winning short film, "Finding Joy in the Journey: A Flawed Masterpiece," a raw portrayal of my personal transformation from trauma to triumph. Please celebrate with me as I commemorate the two-year anniversary of its release.
This film serves as a beacon of hope, reminding us that each of us is a work in progress, flawed yet extraordinary in our own special ways. My intention in sharing my story has always been to inspire fellow survivors of abuse to heal, flourish, and thrive.
"It's time to heal, to pivot, to accept that we are all flawed and that our imperfections are magnificent masterpieces."
If you haven't had the opportunity to watch it, you can watch it here now. It is not merely a short film but a testament to the resilience and self-love that empowers us all. ????
To every survivor out there, I implore you to embrace your flaws, for they are the source of your strength. Though your journey may be challenging, remember that there is a joy to be found in every step toward healing.
Come together with me as we celebrate the beauty within our imperfect masterpieces. Let us find joy in our collective journey.
I extend my deepest gratitude to the remarkable team behind the scenes of the short film: Director Sid Powell , Creative Directors Shawn Crenshaw , and NATT TAYLOR , and the many other outstanding creatives who supported this creative endeavor. Your divine creativity made this project possible, and I am forever grateful!
I also pay homage to the late Ben Taylor. Your contributions will not be forgotten. ????????????
