Celebrating the Top Off of Maison Manuvie

Last Thursday was a great day for our team - we celebrated an important milestone for Manulife Real Estate, Ivanhoe Cambridge and Pomerleau - the topping off of our Montreal office development, Maison Manuvie.

We were on hand to sign the last structural beam, along with the over 200 men and women who have been working on the construction site, to watch it rise 27 stories to the top of the building. I am proud of our team and their achievement thus far, and am excited to see this architecturally striking development move towards completion in 2017.

In 2014 Manulife partnered with Ivanhoe Cambridge to develop this 27-storey, landmark office tower in the heart of Montreal. Located at 900 de Maisonneuve West, this property will be the home of our Manulife operations in Montreal. This spectacular building will implement sustainable features as we work to achieve LEED Gold standards, include modern amenities and a soaring lobby that will greet guests.

We are particularly proud of this development as the addition of this world-class office tower reinforces our commitment to growth in Quebec and complements our growing portfolio.
