Celebrating a Thriving Thursday on Independence Day
There probably isn’t a more important day on the calendar than Independence Day to take pause and reflect on the 5 things we need to thrive in our careers and in the communities where we live, work, and serve.? After all, the freedoms we enjoy as Americans are celebrated on July 4th, and that’s exactly what we should be doing this week with family and friends.?
?At ZeroMils we don’t take any of this for granted.? We recognize that we are fortunate to have a company and partners who not only believe in our mission to create Military Thriving cultures and communities.? We are living and breathing it every day – putting words into action.?
This is what Independence Day means to us and we’re holding each other accountable to focus on the 5 things we need to thrive. Starting with the health and well-being of our team and spending much of next week reconnecting with the people we love.? We hope you will do the same.??
As inspiration we thought we’d share some “thriving moments” — and highlight the many ways we’ve been thriving this summer with our families and in support of our partners.?
Earlier this month, ZeroMils earned the designation of SDVOSB.? These aren’t just words that describe our company. They represent who we are and the actions we take every day for Veteran small business owners like us, enabling them to build something and impactful for those who follow in our footsteps.??We are Military Thriving through purposeful and Meaningful Employment.
We are finding purpose through continued service every single day from sunrise to sunset with each other and our families.?

Finally…. yesterday as a family ourselves, ZeroMils celebrated the birthday of Associate Director of Partnerships, Trish Bautista. More importantly, tomorrow, we will celebrate the best birthday present of all — when her husband Navy Corpsman Brian Bautista returns from a 6 month deployment to 29 Palms CA.?
With that, we wish you a very Happy 4th yourselves — and leave you with one simple question:? What are you doing to thrive this Independence Day?!
