I was honored to host the first Tetra Pak Dutch policy roundtable in The Hague on November 27, 2024, focusing on accelerating sustainable growth in the food sector.?

During the event, I highlighted the crucial role Tetra Pak can play in supporting a sustainable and resilient food system:?

• Tackling Climate Change: Emphasizing the importance of addressing climate change throughout the value chain
• Food Preservation and Security: Our beverage cartons are designed to protect essential yet perishable food products like milk and juice, extending their shelf life up to 12 months.
• Reducing Food Waste: Announcing that Tetra Pak will join @Samen Tegen Voedselverspilling in January, looking forward to collaboration and concrete actions.?

Achieving these overarching objectives requires long-term stability and clear, consistent regulatory frameworks that promote and incentivize innovation and collaboration.?

A key takeaway from our discussions is the need to strengthen alignment across policy strategies, including climate, circular economy, and food security.
