Celebrating Success of Medical Tourism Upgrade workshop with friends in Kyiv Ukraine.

Planning for a memorable workshop event is a big job. Anybody experienced in it will have this view. But with friends around ready to give everything to make it a grand success, things become easy and enjoyable. 

Dr. Prem Jagyasi, the globally reputed medical tourism marketing consultant, Anna Guchok, the founder of Medical Tourism Upgrade’18 and a recognized expert in developing Medical Tourism, ViolettaYanyshevskaya, the President of UAMT (Ukrainian Association of Medical Tourism) and an international medical tourism expert in medical tourism and Igor Torskyy, the founder and Vice President of UAMT worked in unison in orchestrating this workshop that will have a long-term impact on the development ofUkrainian medical tourism.

The role of UAMT in developing Ukraine’s medical tourism market deserves special mention. This workshop has been the perfect add-on to its creditable efforts.

Medical Tourism Upgrade’18 to help in capitalizing Ukraine’s medical tourism potential:

Ukraine is gaining huge popularity in inbound medical tourism offering affordable top class medical treatments and rehabilitation facilities along with ample vacationing opportunities that any tourist will fall for it. There has been a steady rise in medical travelers from Western European countries, US and UK.

To reap further benefits of the booming medical tourism industry, Ukraine has to extend its customer base to CIS countries and other destinations. Medical Tourism Upgrade’18 was aimed to impart adequate knowledge and skills to the participants keen to make a mark in the medical tourism business. Needless to mention, the participation was extremely good heralding a promising future of the country in this domain.

All-out efforts paid off:

In view of its immense significance in international perspective, the workshop had to be outstanding in all respects. Dr. Prem Jagyasi along with Anna Guchok, ViolettaYanyshevskaya and Igor Torskyy worked tirelessly to make this workshop an impactful event.

The planning and scheduling of this workshop initiated months back. Extensive promotional campaigns were launched. The registrations were highly encouraging that set the team on fire. Special thanks go to UAMT for its continued support to make this workshop a great success.

The training module created was perfect covering all aspects of medical tourism. The task was not easy considering the complexity of medical tourism business and the wide gamut of subject matters associated with it.

Lots of brainstorming went behind in creating easy-to-grasp training materials keeping an eye on the varied profile of the participants. Working till late hours was the need of hour. The team was upbeat without allowing weariness to seep in. A great success was anticipated well before.

The D-day:

Finally, it was 16th October. The team was enthusiastic and chirpy all throughout. The attendance was damn good which comprised of young students to experienced senior professionals. All guests and participants were well taken care of as they made themselves comfortable in the venue.

As the workshop proceeded, everybody in the team was pleased to observe the keenness of participants in absorbing all information provided through lectures and presentations. Their queries, responses and other interactions truly served the purpose.

The valuable inputs from different speakers were readily acknowledged by the participants. Anna Guchok emphasized the importance of valuing customer experiences on which lies the success of medical tourism business.

Being an expert in this field, she shared her practical experiences citing a few brilliant examples. Violetta’s insightful delivery on the importance of certification and quality of medical tourism services further enlightened the knowledge base of participants.

Dr. Prem highlighted the importance of marketing and branding in medical tourism business. His lucid presentation on strategies to follow provided a deeper insight into the business scenario. The participants could grasp these complex business skills without much problem.

Igor as a moderator of this workshop was splendid. He cracked jokes occasionally without letting the session turn boring. Else it would have been tough to hold the attention of participants till the end in this long- duration workshop.

Fun-filled activities introduced in between the training sessions also lightened the atmosphere as participants could enjoy some relaxing moments. All that followed after the workshop was highly elating. Words of praise and encouraging testimonials from participants flooded the social media. The team’s motivation soared high. The success of this workshop was sensed.

Post-event celebrations:

The venue was UkrainskiStravy, a traditional Ukrainian restaurant striking in all respects. It is a living museum displaying the amazing culinary culture and history of this region. A restaurant cum museum – a rare existence. The restaurant not only fed the body but also the soul.

The welcome drink, the special décor with large sized popular fruits and vegetables, the traditional motifs of the furniture and furnishings and the drink bar with a gala display of traditional wine bottles – everything demanded visitors’ intense attention. The atmosphere was charged allowing everybody to enjoy to their heart’s content. The sweet taste of success was ultimately realized here.
