CELEBRATING SUCCESS

At Chelgrave, we value the work our employees are performing and the significant contribution they are making to our clients. We are genuinely impressed with their efforts and thought we'd share their accomplishments with our followers.

This weeks' good news story focuses on our maintenance crew working at CUB Abbotsford. Chelgrave’s Andy March (packaging specialist) led his maintenance team in the overhaul of a redundant packaging machine which had not been used in three years. What they managed to achieve was remarkable; the line was up to full rate-speed and achieved all its targets in the first hour of operation, something that usually takes up to a full week to accomplish. In fact, when commissioning a new packaging product, the team usually plan for about 25% machine loss until all the set-up work is completed, yet the team of specialised and skilled technicians achieved less than 1% machine loss – what an amazing result!
