Celebrating Saint Gregory partners: WERNER SCHERER

We are close to Christmas holidays and to the end of the year and, as we have previously told, this is the right time for Saint Gregory to draw conclusions looking back at what was built during the last twelve months. When Saint Gregory project started, the goal to reach was perfectly clear: we wanted to export the real Neapolitan tailoring abroad, allowing people from all over the world to have their own suit exactly as they were entering a little workshop in the city of Naples. Is this possible? We think it is, however, this is only achievable thanks to the partnerships we have built with our partners. Today we are going to introduce a real lover of Italy and Italian culture, Mr. Werner Scherer.

Workaholic, fashionista, and lover of classic style. These are the words that best describe Mr. Scherer's attitude to his business. He prefers Italian food and wines, listen to Italian music and loves Pavarotti and Giuseppe di Stefano. He would always spend his holidays in Capri and Costiera Amalfitana. We could define him an “Italian values and culture addicted”.

The family business WERNER SCHERER was founded in 1951 by Mr. Scherer's parents and, in the beginning, was focused on the sales of high-end shirts and exclusive menswear. Today the customers are able to find a total look collection for men and everything they find is made from the finest materials, especially as much as regards WERNER SCHERER special collection by Italian manufacturers.

Under the expert guidance of Mr. Scherer customers will be able to build their own style and to enhance their individuality. Ready-to-wear, made-to-order and made-to-measure suits, shirts, knitwear, ties and other accessories. There are countless options. Indeed his motto is “nothing is impossible” and, thanks to the partnership with Saint Gregory he is offering now a proper BESPOKE service, planning for trunk shows with our travelling tailors. That’s what he says about us: “...the flexibility of bespoke tailoring in combination with a 100% handmade product of the highest level, allows me to nearly satisfy every customer need”.

Indeed Mr. Scherer is not the only German who is in love with the Neapolitan culture in all his respects, tailoring included. We will leave you here quoting the famous words of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. “Sagen sie hier... Siehe Neapel und stirb!”.
