Celebrating resilience and bravery in 2020

With immense pride I am pleased to announce my involvement with The RAD’s 2021 as the first in-house Chair of the awards. 

Having judged a few years ago the experience was second to none and when the opportunity came up, I jumped at it. I am also really excited by the message that hopefully my appointment as Chair sends to the inhouse community that The RADs are open to all to enter. 

It’s safe to say 2020 has not gone as planned for most but I feel the spirit of the RADs stays relevant and the brave and the bold have pivoted their work this year with some breath-taking results. 

As Chair in 2021, I am pleased to announce that the criteria for a number of the awards has been edited to reflect the current climate. 

I for one am really looking forward to seeing the entries for Employee Engagement which has been heavily edited for 2021 and we are expecting will be heavily focused towards company’s response to Covid. 

As a massive innovation geek, I am pleased to say the Innovation award has been edited to not just be about the reinvention of the wheel but where budget and effectiveness come hand in hand. I know as an industry we are changing the way we work all the time, yet this award always seems to be low on entries and not always reflecting the work we are doing. 

Those eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed the change in dates, The deadline for entries is the 8th January 2021.

We have a brilliant judging panel this year and look forward to sharing the impressive line up with you in the coming weeks.
