When I approached her about participating in a contest hosted by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, she was ecstatic. The contest aimed to showcase artistic representations of living with cystic fibrosis, a condition that affects thousands of individuals and their families.?

Gabrielle enthusiastically dove into the project, researching to ensure her artwork accurately reflected the complexity of this disease. Unfortunately, as Gabrielle was finalizing her piece, she discovered that the contest rules stipulate that only individuals with cystic fibrosis are eligible to participate. Although she could not submit her artwork for the competition, I thought sharing it with our community would be great. Gabrielle expressed her determination to share her work and remarked, "It was very fun to work on something with a lot of meaning behind it."?

Despite the setback, Gabrielle continued to sharpen and add more detail to her drawing, demonstrating her commitment to conveying the message of hope and resilience that this artwork represents.
