Celebrating a Remarkable Journey at NRI FT India
Hello everyone,
I'm Amit Chakraborty, a long-standing member of the newest department, ITeS. Currently, I oversee the Production Support wing and manage my own Sysadmin tasks. I'm dedicated to making sure our systems run smoothly and providing the best support possible to our team and clients. I've been here for a while, and I've seen our department grow and change.
Looking back on my career, I realize it's been an amazing journey. I started as a young, enthusiastic boy and over the years, I've grown into the person I am today. NRI FT India has been more than just a workplace for me; it's become my second home. I could talk for hours about the ups and downs I've experienced, but today, I want to share my thoughts on our recent achievement of being named a "Great Place to Work".

At NRI FT India, we've always valued trust, pride, and camaraderie. Our culture, built over the years from fresh recruits to senior management, is the secret to our success. We've also evolved in terms of technology. As part of the IT infrastructure team, I've seen firsthand how we've embraced new technologies. From using desktop machines as servers to transitioning to VMWARE virtualized infrastructure, the journey has been fascinating. I'm proud to have been part of a team that handled this transition efficiently, without disrupting our business. We've since moved to the latest Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI) with Software-Defined Storage (SDS) provided by NUTANIX, refreshing our old cluster. It's a testament to our organization's commitment to embracing change and moving forward.
Aside from technological advancements, NRI FT India, as part of the larger NRI group, has made significant strides in expanding our global business. With strong guidance from management, we've achieved commendable goals in international markets.
I want to express my gratitude to my teammates, managers, and leadership for their support. Together, we've charted a path of success, and I'm excited to see where it leads us next.
