Celebrating patriotism and community at the Folsom Pro Rodeo

It's undoubtedly one of my favorite Folsom traditions, the?Folsom Pro Rodeo. Without a doubt, it’s a memorable way to observe our country’s independence!??

Held annually over the July 4th?holiday, the Rodeo has a proud legacy of over 60 years of first-rate family entertainment. It attracts people from all over the region to celebrate the spirit of patriotism in our country and community.?

This year’s event continues the spirit and energy July 1-3, 2022, bringing together Folsom’s community (and beyond) to enjoy non-stop rodeo fun, action sports, and other thrilling performances. The family-friendly atmosphere gives it a welcoming feel, whether it's your first or 15th?time.

One key difference between the Folsom Pro Rodeo and other rodeos is that ours is endorsed by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), ensuring a high-quality event. In addition, the PRCA boasts a strict standard for humane treatment of all animals at its events, and the Folsom Pro Rodeo?follows those standards.?

In addition to the seven classic rodeo events that range from barrel racing to bareback riding and the ever-popular Pro Rodeo Queen Contest, the Folsom Pro Rodeo features crowd favorites like the Flying Cowboys and this year’s Grand Marshall, Adam Frick, AKA Uncle Sam. Plus, spectators can enjoy incredible fireworks displays every night.??
