Celebrating Outstanding Matric Results & Exciting New Beginnings at Womandla Foundation!

We are thrilled to share some incredible news that highlights the impact of our collective efforts. Our students have produced outstanding results in their matric finals, with multiple distinctions and Bachelor’s Degree passes! Many of these bright minds are now on their way to universities and colleges, paving the way for a brighter future.

The school principal noted with pride that a majority of the school’s Top 20 achievers are from the Womandla Mentorship Cohort. This achievement is worthy of celebration and inspires us to do even more!

Join Our 2025 Mentorship Programme

We invite you to actively participate in this year’s schools mentorship programme in Cape Town or Durban. Together, we can continue to support and empower these young minds to reach their fullest potential. Here’s some of the ways you can get involved:

1. Back-to-School Drive This year, we aim to equip 80 students in our Cape Town and Durban programmes with essential school supplies, uniforms, and resources. Your support will directly enable these students to begin the academic year with the tools they need to succeed.

2. Mentorship Program Kickoff We are excited to launch the 2025 Mentorship Programme, which includes:

• Facilitators Training: Preparing our team to provide the best support to mentees.
• Mentor Training: Equipping mentors with the skills and resources to guide and inspire their mentees effectively.

This kickoff will set the foundation for a transformative year of growth and learning for our mentees and mentors alike.

If you're new to Womandla Foundation, welcome! We are a non-profit organization dedicated to bridging the gender gap by empowering African women and girls through mentorship, STEAM advocacy, entrepreneurship, and development. We collaborate with various organizations to promote social innovation, mentorship, education, and capacity building. Our mentorship program provides continuous support to young women in secondary education, encouraging and motivating them through tailored mentorship and personal development journeys. Our national team is committed to driving this agenda in alignment with United Nations SDGs 3, 4, and 5.
