Celebrating our way to success

In my work with my coaching clients and workshop participants, we spend a lot of time together acknowledging the things we're grateful for, the small steps we're taking, the decisions, choices and actions we're proud of... Ultimately, what we're doing is celebrating our way to success.

And of course, there are moments when we celebrate the crescendo moments - the new business launched, the book published, moving into the new home, the holiday taken, the graduation.

There are two advantages in this. One is to embrace the high vibrations we experience when we celebrate and appreciate all the good in our lives. The other is that it encourages us to keep taking the small steps we can take because we never get to the big celebrations without them!

This week I want to share with you some of my crescendo moments from just last week. It is the culmination of many, many small steps taken, decisions made and followed up with action, choices for and against the things that would take me towards or away from my goals.

As you know, I am a transformational life coach, certified by the Brave Thinking Institute in the USA. They have an annual awards programme, for the now 5,000-strong, international coaching community. I'm a proud member of that community and love teaching their approach to transformation in all my coaching programmes and incorporating it into my workshops.

Last week, it was an absolute honour to be identified as one of the Top 10 finalists in the BTI Transformational Coach of the Year Award 2023.

I was equally proud and thrilled to be identified as one of the top 10 coaches in the Outstanding Impact Award 2023.

I can't tell you how proud I am of these outcomes. As you may already know, I left what had been a successful career in Human Resources in Higher Education in the UK and Ireland in 2015. Many people thought I was nuts to leave that success and, let's face it, the security, behind me. But I knew I was being called to more and to work in a different way.

It's been a great 8 years. And yes, there were ups and downs along the way, but I've met amazing people, I've served thousands through my workshops and hundreds of coaching clients, I've grown beyond my wildest dreams and I absolutely love what I do.

Perhaps the most important aspect of all of this is that it tells your stories too. It acknowledges the changes my clients have made in their lives and the transformation and unprecedent results achieved. I'm so proud of all of you for the ways you've engaged, learned and applied the transformational teachings I share in your lives. You all know who you are!

I'm sharing this news widely now so that reading this you may find your own inspiration and courage in my celebrations. I know you have things you'd love to create or experience, new results you'd love to live into this year. How do I know? Because you're human! We are always being called to grow and become more than we have been up until now.

And I want my story and celebrations today to be part of the evidence by which you can really see that it is possible to transform your life. You too can create results you love.
