As we mark national Pro Bono Week in the UK, Inside Justice would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional legal professionals who volunteer with us to address one of the most profound challenges in our criminal justice system: miscarriages of justice.

Our pro-bono volunteers are the backbone of our charity. They give their time, expertise, and passion to help those who claim wrongful imprisonment, using their skills to bring fresh hope to cases that would otherwise go unheard.

Our volunteer team includes criminal lawyers, barristers, forensic scientists, ex-senior police officers, and former high court judges, all working together as part of our Advisory Panel. You may have seen how they work on TV.

They lend their expertise to navigate complex legal terrain, draft appeals, and provide vital legal guidance to our clients and their families. Each of these professionals is motivated by the desire to make a meaningful impact, knowing that their work doesn’t only help the wrongly convicted but strengthens our justice system as a whole.
