Celebrating our origin story … and its hero.

At McDonald’s, October 5th is a very special day.

It’s a day we commemorate at McDonald’s franchises around the globe; coming together to celebrate and honor the true hero of the McDonald’s story – the very reason the Golden Arches exist in the first place.

October 5th is Founder’s Day – the birthday of McDonald’s founder Ray Kroc. And it’s the day every member of the McDonald’s team comes together, behind the counters, across the stores and in the kitchens. We come together to serve our customers, serve up smiles and feel-good moments all around, in addition to continuing this company-wide tradition of growing and engaging our global family.

Last week, the McDonald’s Kuwait community spent a good deal of their day together in stores, representing the values that uphold our organization through serving our clients with big smiles, listening to their feedback and sharing our stories with our colleagues from head office and the stores. We come together to celebrate and commemorate the man who paved the way to making this global community a reality!
