International Women's Day is a reminder of the ongoing journey towards gender equality. This year's theme, Invest in Women, resonates deeply with our values at Roc Search. We're proud to invest in incredible female leaders across various departments and industries, each blazing a trail while championing inclusivity and empowering others.
At Roc Search, we proudly champion change from within. With 44% of our board composed of women, we stand at the forefront of change within Recruitment, where on average only 5% of board leaders are female. Working within male dominated industries, we actively encourage women to pursue careers in STEM and leadership positions.
Our commitment to Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DE&I) is further recognised through awards from The WICT Network , won by our President in the US, Danny Cohen , who is a passionate DE&I advocate. He founded STEM Council For Good , is a Co-Chair on 50/50 Women on Boards as well as being a DEI Director for WICT Greater Texas - all of which support women and minorities across multiple industries.

Meet Elisha Bateman , Roc Search’s Director of IT…
From leading ground-breaking projects to mentoring young recruiters, Elisha embodies the true spirit of inclusion. She rose through the ranks, shattering glass ceilings whilst advocating for diverse perspectives in the tech industry. “In my influential position, prioritising the growth of our women leaders and ensuring equal opportunities for everyone remains a key focus of equality and diversity throughout Roc Search.” she shares.
Supporting and empowering her colleagues, Elisha continues to create limitless opportunities within and outside of the business, she aims to “give all women a platform to thrive and create their own paths for success.? I am focused and committed to provide a platform for all women, enabling them to create their unique paths to success.”

Alisia is a passionate advocate for building a diverse and inclusive workplace. She recognises the value of showcasing a variety of experiences and perspectives. This commitment to representation and authenticity extends beyond hiring practices – it's a core principle in her approach to learning and development as well.

Beverley Christopher , Roc Search’s Director of Operations, on inclusive infrastructures…
Beverley leads in legal, systems, infrastructure, and implementation, exemplifying exceptional leadership. She is the spearhead for the behind the scenes of Roc Search and ensures each employee is armed with the tools to be successful.
We spoke to Beverly about creating inclusive work environment where she shared, “I’m an advocate for creating an inclusive environment through having infrastructures in place that fosters fair and consistent decision making throughout the employee journey.” This commitment to fairness and inclusion is a cornerstone of our company culture, and we're grateful for Beverley's leadership. She emphasised that “Having clearly defined competencies in place and assessing against competencies helps to reduce the risk of unconscious bias.”

We spoke to Stephanie about inclusion in the workplace, where she emphasised, "Seeing women in leadership positions creates pathways for their success. It's about taking action, not just offering praise. Hire more women in impactful roles where they can drive positive change within the organisation." Her passion for building inclusive communities is vital as she fosters thriving customer ecosystems as well as creating an inclusive work environment.
