Celebrating Our Achievement: Obtaining ZDHC Supplier to Zero Progressive Level Certification
We are delighted to announce that MAS Fabrics (Private) Limited - Intimo Seamless Division, a MAS Active facility, has reached a remarkable milestone: achieving the ZDHC Supplier to Zero Progressive Level Certification. This certification helps us differentiate ourselves in the global market, reduce environmental impact, and contribute positively to the sustainability of the apparel industry.
What is ZDHC Supplier to Zero Certification?
ZDHC stands for Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals, an initiative aimed at eliminating the use of harmful chemicals in the textile and footwear supply chain. The Supplier to Zero program is a rigorous certification process designed to guide facilities through three levels of sustainable chemical management (foundational, progressive and aspirational levels).
By obtaining the Progressive Level Certification, we have demonstrated our capability to continually improve our chemical management practices, adhering to stringent standards and adopting industry best practices.
Here are the steps we followed to receive the ZDHC Supplier to Zero - Progressive Level
Certification:
First, we began with a self-evaluation of our chemical management practices to identify areas of improvement and where we stand in relation to ZDHC guidelines.
Then, the ZDHC platform provided tailored recommendations to guide us if there are any deviations from basic requirements.
Finally, to validate our improvements, we submitted our practices for an unbiased third-party review, ensuring we were ready for certification.
