Celebrating Nurses This Week

The middle of this week marked International Nurses Day. Seems too many people were not aware of that. We have been acknowledging nurses specifically in America – more than 5 million of them registered and practicing on varied levels – in the same week ironically, that we surpassed 1 million deaths from COVID in America.?

If someone dear to you spent any time over the last two years in the care of one of those 5-million-plus-strong you had reason for significant reflection this week as well. During times – days, minutes, even seconds – when questions and the prognoses of living baffled the best of doctors, nurses were there with those eyes barely revealed between coverings to protect themselves and their own families. Those eyes that locked into the eyes of that loved one some grab of hope in the most hopeless of moments. Those gloved hands were often the only of last touches and always the most frequent of any touch that transferred value and love. Those skills sharpened by overwhelming odds from a view that gave no space for surrender.?

We at Vendorship committed this year to doing our part in connecting public sector needs to capable companies agile enough to respond to nursing shortages and nursing fatigue. Working more intentionally with clients who demonstrate ‘unmatched excellence’ in supplying top-notch nursing professionals when systems need them most. For us, healthcare talent acquisition and staff augmentation is not a profit lane, it's a mission fulfillment.?

The VendorshipJourney is powered by more than 65 years of high-level executive government management, procurement and appropriations experience to better position any company, large or small, to sustain valuable longer-term partnerships with government to satisfy the shifting dynamics of constituent need.
