Celebrating National Volunteer Week
As the CEO of YSAR Trust, it is with immense pride and gratitude that I take this opportunity to acknowledge the incredible generosity of all those who selflessly give back to our community. National Volunteer Week is a time to celebrate the spirit of volunteerism that runs deep through the heart of New Zealand.
At YSAR, our mission thrives on the dedication and commitment of our volunteers. From our students training tirelessly to be the future responders in times of need, to the instructors who consistently turn up week after week to deliver life-changing programs, to our Board of Trustees who provide essential governance and strategic direction, every volunteer is a cornerstone of our success.
New Zealand is truly a nation of volunteers. Across our beautiful country, people dedicate their time and energy to a myriad of causes. Whether it's supporting the elderly through Age Concern, participating in search and rescue operations, patrolling our beaches, or offering solace through Victim Support, the reach of volunteerism extends into every corner of our society.
This week, we honor and celebrate all the amazing work and the remarkable people who sacrifice their time for the betterment of our community. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and the impact of your service is felt far and wide.
Thank you for your unwavering dedication and for embodying the spirit of community that makes New Zealand such a special place.
With the utmost gratitude and warmest regards,
Steve Campbell
