As we honour the legacy of Major Dhyan Chand, this year's National Sports Day is even more special as we celebrate the incredible performances by our athletes at the Paris 2024 Olympics! ??????

India brought home 6 medals this time, showcasing our growing strength on the global sports stage:

  • Manu Bhaker: Bronze in Women's 10m Air Pistol
  • Manu Bhaker & Sarabjot Singh: Bronze in 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team
  • Swapnil Kusale: Bronze in Men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions
  • Indian Men's Hockey Team: Bronze, continuing our rich hockey tradition
  • Neeraj Chopra: Silver in Javelin, making India proud yet again
  • Aman Sehrawat: Bronze in Wrestling (57kg Freestyle), becoming India's youngest Olympic medallist at just 21! ??

These remarkable achievements reflect our athletes' dedication, discipline, and passion. On this National Sports Day, let's pledge to support and promote sports nationwide, ensuring future generations continue to shine on the world stage.
