When Eric took his first steps into Dancor Solutions' initial office—a significant upgrade from co-founders Kelly and Dan Fronk's home where the company was born—he couldn't have anticipated the journey ahead. At that time, the company was only two years old with just a handful of employees.

"When I first started, I did all my own estimating, project management, customer service, and billing. I was also heavily involved in the actual production of getting the jobs done. We were a small team, and we had to wear multiple hats to get everything accomplished," Eric reminisces about his early, formative days at Dancor.

The flexibility and diverse skill set Eric brought to those early days were vital. His adaptability and resolve became a cornerstone for the company's own evolution and success.

A Client-First Philosophy: The Backbone of Business Development

Eric's role at Dancor evolved as the company grew, allowing him to focus more on business development without relinquishing his involvement in project management. One principle has always guided him in this evolution: a client-first philosophy.

"Our company grew in various dimensions, which allowed me to shift my focus more on business development without completely relinquishing my involvement in project management. What has always kept me motivated is my love for the intricacies of large projects and my dedication to solving any problems that my clients might face. Over the years, I've come to consider myself as an extension of my clients' own teams," Eric explains, outlining his enduring client-centric approach.

Living by the mantra "Yes… we do that," Eric's unyielding commitment to problem-solving has nurtured long-lasting partnerships and contributed to business growth. Whether facing small issues or complex challenges, he never ceases to find creative and effective solutions.

Building Relationships Inside and Outside the Company

Eric's tenure at Dancor Solutions has not just been about professional achievement but also about forming lasting bonds. His relationship with co-founders Dan and Kelly Fronk transcended the professional realm, extending into a lifelong friendship and shared personal history.

"Not only have I had the privilege of working with Dan and Kelly for the last 25 years, but our relationship goes beyond just a professional setting. Our families have been close since our younger days, and we even vacationed together. They're not just my employers; they are my friends," Eric warmly recalls.

In a unique blend of work and personal life, Eric's spouse transitioned from being a long-time vendor of Dancor to recently becoming a valuable addition to the Dancor Solutions team.

Mentorship and Continued Learning: A Legacy in the Making

Mentorship has been a recurring theme in Eric's career journey. The lessons he's learned have circled back into the company, enriching the knowledge pool and benefiting clients.

"Over the years, many people have provided me with invaluable industry mentoring. This mentorship gave me opportunities to give back, allowing me to mentor others in the process. Most significantly, it equipped me to better serve and educate Dancor's ever-growing clientele," Eric shares.

Looking to the Future

With a sense of pride in the past and optimism for the future, Eric is eager for the chapters yet to be written in his Dancor journey.

“Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue to work with both current and new clients of Dancor. I’m also eager to continue traveling and cherishing time with my family and friends. The future is full of possibilities,” Eric says with an optimistic gaze toward what lies ahead.
