Celebrating Lifelong Bonds ??

Today is World Friendship Day and I couldn't resist delving into the wonderful world of friendship and what makes it so special. Let's first take a moment to appreciate the magic of true friendship that goes way beyond weekend parties and social media snaps.

Friendship to me, is like the secret sauce that makes our relationships taste good! It's the human emotion that connects two souls, whether they're family, buddies, colleagues, or even soulmates. That sense of friendship is the secret ingredient that keeps every bond rock-solid.

I've been blessed with beautiful and meaningful friendships. My late father, late husband have been unwavering sources of support and love, filling my life with joy and inspiration and being my best friends for life. I cherish a similar relationship with my seven year old daughter now.

Alongside them, friends have stood as pillars, offering strength during life's toughest storms.

Ever noticed how true friends have this superpower of helping us mature in every relationship we're in? It's like they sprinkle some wisdom and patience dust on us, making us better versions of ourselves. And the best part? It's unconditional love most of the time! No need to explain yourself or apologize for being your quirky self; true friends just get you, period.

I count myself super lucky to have some wonderful friends in my life who’ve been there through thick and thin, supporting me in ways I never thought possible. Life's journey has been a rollercoaster, but these awesome peeps have made every twist and turn a heck of a lot more fun!
