Celebrating Leadership excellence - IoD Awards Jersey 2019

This evening we are celebrating the Jersey heat of the 2019 IoD Awards at The Royal Yacht with thanks to Gold Sponsor Appleby and Silver Sponsor HSBC Channel Islands. The evening is an opportunity to recognise the exceptional leadership talent that we are fortunate enough to be able to enjoy in Jersey.

Tonight will be an evening of mixed emotions for me personally, celebration for the winners and a touch of sadness for myself, as this will be my penultimate event as IoD Chairman before I hand over the very enjoyable role of IoD Jersey Chair to Lisa Springate (whom I am confident will be an exceptional Chair).

The key thing for everyone to remember this evening is that we are fortunate, we are healthy, we are able to participate in a thriving Island economy which is able to weather International storms and remain steadfast in our delivery of diverse yet exceptional services.

This evening is but a small part of our rich tapestry as a community, thank you to all of you who have bravely put your heads above the parapets for rightful recognition at an event where the competition is quite simply, fierce!

Whilst I am personally oblivious of the results, I would like to share my congratulations and best wishes to all our exceptional finalists:
