Celebrating Lake Street
Colette Campbell
Chief People and Culture Leader who is passionate about expanding opportunity and positive impact in work and life.
Yesterday, we officially celebrated our newest branch on East Lake Street in Minneapolis with a ribbon cutting. I am excited about our new partnership with this vibrant, growing community.
In 2020, Bremer Bank looked inward and made fresh commitments to cultivate thriving communities by providing more opportunities for our customers, businesses and communities of color. Part of our strategic vision and long-term goals include prioritizing our diversity, equity and inclusion resources and trainings and focusing on listening and learning from local leaders. We are also working to establish a greater presence in historically underserved areas; this process has begun with a particular focus in the Twin Cities.
Having a presence in underrepresented populations is a big part of Bremer’s vision for the future. Last November, we opened a revitalized branch in the Midway neighborhood of Saint Paul. As we celebrate this new branch opening on East Lake Street, we are delighted to partner with the many small businesses and nonprofit organizations already along the corridor that are making meaningful, lasting impacts.
Bremer is more than a bank building – we continually strive to be allies and partners to the people we serve. We believe when businesses and communities succeed, we all succeed.
