Celebrating Jodie: 2 years of growth and success!

Two years have flown by since Jodie first stepped through our doors as our inaugural team member. What a journey it has been! Reflecting on these past two years prompts a recognition of the remarkable journey Jodie has undertaken.

During this period, Jodie has engaged in a multitude of projects with a diverse range of clients, demonstrating versatility and dedication, from diving headfirst into full-time work with one client to juggling multiple exciting projects. Her placements have spanned from two-month stints to engaging year-long projects.

Her roles primarily revolved around collaborating with fiduciary and prescribed businesses on the Island, each presenting unique challenges. Here's just a glimpse of the diverse and exciting projects Jodie has been a part of:

• Project Oversight: Addressing action items arising from periodic reviews and risk assessments, with regular updates provided to the Board to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Data Management: Methodically uploading and meticulously reviewing client data for screening purposes, ensuring thorough evaluation of potential matches.
• Client Onboarding: Facilitating the streamlined onboarding process for new clients, directly liaising to handle all Customer Due Diligence (CDD) requests with precision and efficiency.
• Regular Reporting: Maintaining consistent communication with Money Laundering Reporting Officers (MLROs) through weekly progress updates.
• Strategic Support: Assisting the leadership team with a substantial client remediation project
• ECDD: Conducting in-depth client source of wealth and source of funds reviews, including the preparation of detailed memos for client files and ensuring the completion of all requisite documentation.
• Closure Procedures: Overseeing the closure of client entities, liaising with external parties and providing valuable feedback to enhance future processes.
• Compliance Monitoring: Conducting quarterly compliance monitoring program tests, collaborating with all business sectors to compile pertinent information.
• Quality Assurance: Reviewing samples of client CDD files to ensure adherence to policy and regulatory standards.
