Celebrating International Women's Day 2023

In honor of #InternationalWomensDay , we’re celebrating some of the incredible women who help make Greenskies Clean Focus successful.

Karen Keane , VP Project Finance

I joined Greenskies in March 2022 to lead Project Finance. With a background in investment banking and the experience of co-founding a start-up, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to join a company that makes a positive difference to the environment and is dynamic and growth-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit.

In my role at Greenskies, I work to develop creative deal structures and financing options. Outside project finance, I work closely with our financing partners, business development team, and asset management group. I’m so proud to be a part of this amazing collaborative team providing clients with innovative, cost-efficient access to clean energy.

I enjoy tennis and reading in my free time, but most of all, spending time with my family and our two dogs.

Kristen Bayusik , Director of Project Funding

Being able to go to work every day with a great team and company culture is always a sign that one has a good job. At Greenskies, feeling good about my job goes a step further in knowing that my day-to-day work positively impacts the environment, municipalities, and businesses.?

My current role as Director of Project Funding at Greenskies allows me a unique perspective on projects. My team becomes invested early during the initial development and stays closely involved until the project is complete. It also allows me to work with various departments within the Greenskies organization, as well as third-party consultants and lenders.

My early career in solar was in project management, and I’m thrilled to have had the opportunity to build on that and continue to use those skills today. I started working at Greenskies in August 2017 after several years in the Connecticut residential solar sector.

Outside of work, I am an active member of the competitive pinball scene, directing and participating in tournaments across Connecticut and nearby states.

Chelsey Wiese , Operations & Maintenance Portfolio Administrator

I started at Greenskies in January 2021 as a Portfolio Administrator on the Operations & Maintenance team. As a Portfolio Administrator, my responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining our third-party portfolios.

I work closely with our Asset Management team to provide availability reports and explanations about production on various sites within our portfolio. In addition, in my role, I produce and present monthly analytic reports to ensure we meet our contractual obligations. I enjoy liaising with multiple departments across Greenskies, from Accounting to Asset Management, to help keep things running smoothly.
