Celebrating the International Human Rights Day ????
Today, we proudly join the global community in celebrating International Human Rights Day, a moment to honor the principles of dignity, equality, and freedom that unite us all. This year’s theme, “Our Rights, Our Future, Right Now,” serves as a powerful reminder of the urgent need to protect and uphold human rights as the foundation for a peaceful and inclusive future.
Earlier this month, we also marked the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, under the theme “Amplifying the Leadership of Persons with Disabilities for an Inclusive and Sustainable Future.” Together, these observances highlight the importance of inclusion, representation, and collective action in advancing human rights for everyone.
At GIZ Rwanda , we remain deeply committed to a human rights-based approach in all our initiatives. Whether it's empowering marginalized communities, fostering inclusivity, or advocating for equal opportunities and ending gender-based violence, these values guide our work and inspire our vision for the future.
