About the Award
The IEEE Bombay Section Platinum Affiliate Award is one of the highest accolades given to student branches that exhibit outstanding performance, exceptional leadership, and a strong dedication to the mission of IEEE. This award celebrates our branch's efforts to foster technological advancement, professional development, and engagement in IEEE activities.
Highlights of IEEE TCET’s Accomplishments
During the academic year 2023-24, IEEE TCET organized over 18 impactful events, ranging from technical workshops to community outreach programs. These events not only enhanced the technical skills of our members but also instilled a sense of responsibility toward societal issues.
One of the standout initiatives was the E-Waste Conclave organized by the IEEE Bombay Section, in which our branch played a significant role.
E-Waste Conclave: A Step Towards Sustainability
The E-Waste Conclave was a landmark event to promote sustainable practices and raise awareness about e-waste management. The event featured:
- E-Waste Collection Drives: Conducted by various colleges, these drives saw significant participation, emphasizing the importance of proper e-waste disposal and recycling.
- Mega Event at MCA Club, Bandra: This event attracted a large audience, including students, industry professionals, and environmental advocates. It featured:
