Celebrating Howard University’s School of Business & Warner Music/Blavatnik Center for Music Business!
National HBCU Business Deans Roundtable
The premier forum for exchanging information and ideas related to maximizing the value of management education at HBCUs.
For the third consecutive year, Howard University’s School of Business has earned a spot in Billboard's 2024 Top Music Business Schools report, an honor that reflects the impact of the Warner Music/Blavatnik Center for Music Business. In a time when diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts are crucial yet face challenges, Howard stands firm, propelled by a mission to empower students through music industry education rooted in social justice and leadership.
Jasmine Young (B.A. '94), alumna and director of the center, reflects on this accomplishment: “What we’re offering is invaluable – we’re changing lives. To lead this center as a Howard alumna brings me great honor to be part of history.”
This recognition not only elevates Howard’s role in the music business industry but also shines a light on the unique value HBCUs offer as incubators for diverse talent and innovative leadership. The National HBCU Business Deans Roundtable celebrates Howard’s continued influence and dedication to creating pathways to success for future business and music industry leaders.
