Go Blue! As a proud alumnus of the University of Michigan (B.A. 1997, M.A. 1999), I was thrilled to cheer on our #1 team during this historic season. I was right there in the stands, lending my voice on 3rd and 4th downs at all three championship games, and let me tell you, I yelled myself hoarse!
At the Big Ten Championship against Iowa, nostalgia blended with excitement as I joined M Wolf , my sophomore roommate, in a sea of maize and blue, rekindling the spirit of our college days.
The adventure continued at the Rose Bowl against Alabama, where I celebrated with family and fellow Wolverines George Blower (B.A. 1998), Jasmeen Khilji (B.A. 2000), and Kennet Santana (B.A. 1997), my freshman roommate. Together, we witnessed a battle to the final play in OT, immersed in stress that only Michigan football can invoke.
The crescendo of the season was the National Championship in Houston, a game where each play held the weight of history. Surrounded by my sister @Leanne Heilig (BSN 2011), my uncle Scott Burke, and Aaron Rochlen (B.A. 1992), the victory was not just a win, but a testament to the enduring spirit of Michigan excellence.
Each photo captures more than a game; they are a testament to the lifelong bonds formed at the University of Michigan. Our shared legacy is not just in diplomas, but in the moments we rally together, standing shoulder to shoulder as Leaders and Best.
Hail to the victors!
Absolutely love seeing the blend of education and sports! ????? Nelson Mandela once said, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." Your dedication is inspiring! And speaking of making a difference, there's an upcoming sponsorship opportunity for the Guinness World Record of Tree Planting, perfect for those passionate about leaving a green legacy: https://bit.ly/TreeGuinnessWorldRecord ??#ChangeMakers
