Event Highlights:

Presidential Journey The Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT) President shared her inspiring story, from her beginnings as a volunteer to her ascent as a leader in our organization. She shared the vital skills, relationships, and opportunities that have shaped her career trajectory.
Introduction of the OWIT International Volunteer Program (OWIT IV) The audience learned about this exciting new initiative aimed at empowering young professionals. – Career guidance and development – Access to industry mentors – Hands-on experience in international trade They got to understand how OWIT IV is poised to cultivate the next generation of leaders in our field.
Open Discussion Participated in an interactive Q&A session with the President, where they asked questions and learned more about OWIT’s initiatives and how to get involved.
This event marked the official launch of the OWIT International Volunteer Program (OWIT IV) as we set the stage for a bright future leading up to 2025. Our goal is to ensure that OWIT IV remains accessible and competitive with the aim of mentoring aspiring leaders through OWIT International’s Mentorship Program.
Objectives of OWIT International:
1. Establish OWIT International as a premier mentorship platform
2. Encourage volunteerism within OWIT International.
3. Conduct a recruitment drive at the OWIT International Executive Committee and across our global chapters to support and mentor OWIT IVs (OWITers)
