?? A Snowstorm, A Video Pitch & A Fair Outcome
During the live Grand Final event, our Canadian finalist, Shahnaz Shahid Ali, unfortunately faced an unexpected challenge—a severe snowstorm in Ontario disrupted her internet connection, making it impossible for her to participate live.
Understanding the circumstances and in the spirit of fairness, the IGPRC2024 organizers permitted Shahnaz to submit a recorded video of her 3-minute mini pitch. ??
After careful consideration of her submission alongside the live performances, the announced results were updated—Shahnaz has been awarded equal Second Place! ??
Her resilience, along with the flexibility of the IGPRC competition, underscores our commitment to inclusivity and responsible research engagement.
