Celebrating Global Diversity Month: Feedzai’s Journey Toward a More Inclusive Workplace

At Feedzai, diversity and inclusivity are more than just a goal—it’s at the heart of who we are. As we recognize Global Diversity Month this October, we reflect on the significant steps we’ve taken in recent months to foster a culture where diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) are integral to our everyday actions.

A key part of this effort has been driving meaningful conversations and implementing real changes within our organization. Recently, we hosted a workshop titled Enabling Diverse Gender Identity and Expression, facilitated by Alexandre Kiyohara. This session focused on the importance of supporting gender diversity in the workplace. Two Feedzaians, who served as DEIB ambassadors for this initiative, helped bring the conversation to life. You can learn more about them by visiting their profiles, Kavita Parkyn and Anusha Parisutham. One actionable takeaway was the introduction of pronouns to our profiles in our HRIS platform. Thankful for the swift action of our People Experience Team member, Anayatzing Tovar this feature is now live, fostering a space where identities are recognized and respected.

Another crucial initiative was the Multigenerational Workforce workshop, led by Jean-Henry Christian and supported by DEIB ambassador Kimi I?igo-Cuevas . This session explored the unique characteristics of different generations and how these differences shape workplace dynamics. The workshop not only highlighted the potential for generational conflict but also offered practical approaches to bridge gaps, confront ageism, and embrace future trends in the evolving world of work.

Looking ahead, we are excited to continue this journey with more workshops on the horizon:

  • Cultural Ethnicity on October 17th
  • Belonging on October 22nd
  • AI and Ethics: How Unconscious Bias Influences Algorithms on November 19th

Beyond internal discussions, we’ve also contributed to the broader conversation on belonging. Recently, Feedzaian Eileen Page was invited to participate in an external podcast hosted by Thomas Kunjappu, where she shared her personal journey and reflected on the concept of Belonging. Through this podcast, she emphasized the importance of creating environments where every individual feels included, valued, and empowered to be their authentic selves. You can check out the podcast and its episodes on the All Onboard Podcast page.

At Feedzai, these efforts are not isolated events. They represent our ongoing commitment to building a more inclusive, empathetic, and dynamic workplace. As we continue moving forward, we remain dedicated to ensuring that every Feedzaian can thrive, contribute, and feel empowered to bring their whole self to work every day.
