Celebrating Giving Tuesday – Our Heritage and Our Future

Each year, the holiday season is a time for us to appreciate all we have and give back to help our friends and neighbors in need. In this spirit, Giving Tuesday is celebrated on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving to encourage people around the world to do good and lend a hand to those less fortunate.

At Anheuser-Busch, we are proud to take this moment to celebrate our internal teams and our non-profit partners that work together to build stronger communities, support our nation’s recovery, and build a better future.??A future with more cheers.?

In fact, in honor of our commitment to our hometown of St. Louis and?to recognize the community that has enabled us to grow and connect with consumers all over the world, we are?bringing back our original flagship beer, St. Louis Lager,?for a limited time at our St. Louis Biergarten with proceeds supporting the United Way of Greater St. Louis’ 100 Neediest Cases campaign.

Partners like the United Way – in St. Louis and in communities across the U.S. where we operate – play an integral role by providing the valuable expertise, experience, and on-the-ground support to help companies like ours make a meaningful impact for our employees, friends and families, and our consumers.?

This year alone, Anheuser-Busch has donated more than $20 million to non-profit organizations across the U.S. so that together we:

• Champion?disaster relief and preparedness efforts?– for every member of your family?–?through?support of the American Red Cross, National Volunteer Fire Council and American Humane
• Establish a?first-of-its-kind coalition with Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Uber?with the goal of?eliminating drunk driving by encouraging consumers to plan ahead for a safe ride home
• Build future leaders who are truly a reflection of our communities by?helping students achieve a college degree?in partnership with UNCF and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund
• Drive economic prosperity?across the U.S.?through our partnerships with?the National Urban League, Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, and the YWCA of Metropolitan St. Louis
• Create a more sustainable future by?protecting our lands and waterways?in partnership with The?Nature Conservancy, River Network, Living Lands and Waters, and Keep America Beautiful??

But it’s not just about this year. While we are proud to acknowledge the work we’ve done in our more than 160-year history, we are even more excited about our future investments and the positive impact we will continue to have for the next 100 years.
