On 22nd February 2024, we, the Silverlake Axis family, came together for a momentous occasion - our first-ever Groupwide Employee Awards Programme. This event marked a significant milestone in our journey, embodying the essence of recognition and appreciation within our culture.
At the heart of this recognition program was the alignment with our One SAL Core Values. These values serve as guiding principles that weave through the fabric of our organisation, shaping our identity and fostering a collective sense of purpose. The Employee Awards Programme was a testament to our commitment to these values, providing a platform to acknowledge and celebrate individuals who exemplify them in their daily endeavours.

The criteria set for the nomination and voting process were intricately tied to the six core values, each encapsulating a unique facet of our organisational ethos. For instance, Curiosity was spotlighted, recognising those who demonstrated proactiveness in seeking and accepting challenges and knowledge. Sustainability celebrated those who actively engaged in activities to "Sharpen the Saw," improving themselves mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually to sustain high performance. Collaboration emerged as a crucial value, honouring individuals who actively engaged in open communication, synergising inputs from colleagues to achieve win-win results for all.
Respect took center stage, applauding those who consistently sought understanding through active listening, embraced diverse viewpoints, and promoted mutual respect among colleagues. Fairness value emphasised the importance of contribution equalling reward, encouraging social inclusion and diversity in daily communication without discrimination. Lastly, Ownership celebrated those who prioritised roles, displaying a proactive mindset in taking responsibility to assist various stakeholders in their areas of expertise.
As we announced the winners, the room filled with applause and a sense of pride as One Silverlake. The Head of Operations, a witness to the achievements of their teams, beamed with joy as they saw the impact of collective efforts reflected in the recognition bestowed upon their colleagues.
