Celebrating the Empowering Achievements of Women at Spryker in 2023

Diversity has always been an integral part of our success and growth at Spryker and throughout this past year, we have been committed to fostering an inclusive environment that supports and empowers women in the workplace.

In a year marked by significant achievements, we've welcomed three exceptional female leaders into our herd: Esther Hubois , our Sales Director leading our Trade & Services vertical; Julie Ellis , our Head of Revenue Enablement; and Sophie Smallwood ?? , our Head of Customer Success.

Furthermore, we are proud to announce that 43% of promotions in 2023 at Spryker were earned by talented and deserving women. The success story of Yara Molthan , who transitioned from Senior Director Business Consulting to VP of Value Engineering is a testimony to the opportunities and growth Spryker offers.

Yara shares with us how her journey at Spryker began: "My journey at Spryker began with Boris Lokschin and Alexander Graf entrusting me to build a Business Consulting Practice from the ground up. Throughout, I’ve been fortunate to receive unwavering support, not only in terms of personal inspiration and valuable sparring from remarkable colleagues like Eric Schreiner , Michael Woodvine , and Elise Mueller but also for professional development through exceptional training opportunities. Starting with a solid foundation of technical understanding, I gradually expanded my knowledge by shadowing awesome colleagues such as Michael Türk , Niko Wilsmann and Sean Drummy ."

We also recognize that career development is no longer a vertical ladder with a pre-constructed path. ?Lily Kriegs ' journey, who took a cross-functional move from Customer Success to Inclusive Culture and Belonging Partner, wondefully shows that Spryker is a playground of opportunities.

Our dedication to creating a space where women thrive has been exemplified through the initiatives of our Employee Affinity Group, Women@Spryker, whose efforts are centered on cultivating a community for women across our company to elevate their voices and flourish.

Monthly workshops have been instrumental in equipping our women with new skills and knowledge, addressing crucial topics like career advancement, bias awareness, and empowerment strategies. Women@Spryker's commitment to empowerment extends beyond internal initiatives by organizing impactful events such as the Herd Conference, sparking meaningful conversations and advocating for positive changes in the broader tech industry towards equality and inclusion.
