Celebrating Difference

Last week I was able to take part in IdentiFy . This is a new Female Leadership Program which has been developed by my company. I felt very fortunate to be selected, but I was very unsure what to expect. I have to say it was unlike any other course/workshop or program I’ve experienced in the past. I’m still not 100% sure how they managed it but this was a wonderful blend of networking, personal branding, development and confidence building all in 3 days.   This is just the beginning!

For me (and I’m sure others) it was ‘just what the doctor ordered’ and I’m very pleased to already be feeling the benefit.

I’m very much looking forward to continuing on the program and working with the 29 other delegates who all bring a unique perspective and set of strengths to learn from.

Whilst this particular program is open to our female leaders only, we all found that actually it’s not necessarily about gender, but more simply about the differences between us all as individuals. Male or female we all have different strengths and traits. When you begin to recognize that what makes you different is what gives you strength your power increases.
