Celebrating Data Centre's 2nd Birthday - Cast your votes now
This month is Data Centre Magazine’s 2nd Birthday!?
It goes without saying that the last two years have seen demands for the sector rocket. And yet, the response to the urgency for speed, computing power, digital infrastructure, flexibility and optimal availability has been exceptionally quick off the mark. And, the magnitude of the task hasn’t halted the speed at which data centres are racing towards their sustainability goals, either.?
The industry has had a lot to handle over the last two years. However, reliability and resilience has remained at the top of the agenda. Consequently, it has been one of the sector’s most transformational and innovative periods to date.?
Our mission is to bring the data centre world together, both digitally and in-person, so that the sector’s projects, learnings, expertise and advice can all be shared. And so, when we launched the magazine, the timing never felt more important.?
From online interviews and virtual case studies, to launching our in-person events and shooting videos on site again, it's been an honour to share stories from the Data Centre industry - covering every corner of the sector.?
Quote from Lewis Vaugham, Managing Director of Data Centre Magazine
“My favourite part of my role at?Data Centre Magazine?has to be the community. To go from a new launch to over 20,000 followers in two years is also truly inspiring. I get to spend my days discussing ideas and content with the executives, advocates, influencers and thought leaders in one of the world's fastest-growing and dynamic industry sectors. This means that no two days are the same! I love talking to everyone from CEOs of the largest colocation and cloud companies, to bright, up-and-coming start-ups and SMEs. From New Zealand to California and everything in between.”
Quote from Josephine Walbank, Editor of Data Centre Magazine:
“It’s been an immense pleasure to be a part of the data centre community. The industry is full of global talent, pioneering technologies and exciting innovations, all of which definitely keep me on my toes!
And the same goes for the team working on our magazine. I’d like to say a huge thank you to the mag’s marketers, designers, sales reps, producers, events organisers and everyone else who makes?Data Centre Magazine?what it is.?
