Join us on Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 3pm-5pm at Northwest Vista College to celebrate Larry Hufford , Professor Emeritus from St. Mary’s University, as he is installed as the 2025 Peace Laureate for the City of San Antonio along side of the Catholic Worker House and the Raindrop Foundation of San Antonio.
The award is presented by the San Antonio Peace Center at Northwest Vista College at the Blessing of the Peacemakers in the Palmetto Center for the Arts (PCA) Theater.
The Blessing of the Peacemakers marks the beginning of the season of nonviolence and honors peacemakers across the community.
Come celebrate two decades of honoring San Antonio’s Peace Laureates and our compassionate community!
This year’s theme, “Who Is Our Neighbor?” invites us to reflect on the power of connection and intentional acts of neighborliness. Our 2025 Peace Laureates embody this spirit, expanding and challenging our understanding of what it means to welcome, extend hospitality, and build relationships.
