Celebrating Catchpoint’s leadership in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Monitoring

Celebrating Catchpoint’s leadership in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Monitoring

After 16 years of blood, sweat, and probably enough coffee to fill multiple swimming pools, Catchpoint was officially named a Leader in Gartner's first-ever Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM) !

Who would’ve thought back when we started on our Internet Performance Monitoring (IPM) journey that we’d not only create a whole new category but also rise to the top of it? Our story started with a focus on Internet Resilience—monitoring what matters from where it matters. And now, here we are, recognized as leaders for our focus on DEM. I still remember when our biggest achievement was figuring out how to make sure Dritan Suljoti could make a toast without burning down the office!

This honor, without a doubt, stands out as one of our proudest achievements. But let’s be honest—it’s not just about the recognition. It’s about the incredible contributions of everyone involved. I’d like to take a moment to express my gratitude to all who played a part in making this achievement a reality.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible

To the phenomenal team of Gartner analysts who drove the Magic Quadrant, thank you for all your due diligence and hard work in building this content.?

To our current Catchpoint team—you brilliant, hardworking, occasionally sleep-deprived champions—thank you. You are the engine that keeps this rocket ship blasting forward. Your innovation, dedication, grit, and commitment to putting customers first drive everything we do. The creativity and relentless energy you bring have shaped our success, and we couldn’t have come this far without your unwavering passion.

To all Catchpointers out there—yes, even those who left us—thank you. Every line of code, every deal, every late-night brainstorming session, every “quick” meeting that turned into a three-hour debate about font sizes, or what shade of blue, or the number of dots in our logo—everything you contributed has led us here. Your fingerprints are all over our success.

And, of course, to our customers—you’re at the heart of everything we do. Thank you for trusting us, for giving us invaluable feedback, and for challenging us to grow and adapt. Without you, we’d just be talking to ourselves (and yes, we do that anyway, but it’s better with you around).

And to our investors and board members: Thank you for believing in our vision, for not panicking when we said things like “disruptive synergy” and “paradigm shift” with a straight face, and for pushing us to build a “lickable” UI. Your faith and guidance have been instrumental in our success.

What it means to lead

Creating a category and being recognized like this is no small feat. It’s like baking a soufflé on a rollercoaster—challenging, a bit crazy, but immensely satisfying when it works out.

To be included in the Gartner Magic Quadrant, we had to meet several demanding criteria: providing widely available capabilities, selling directly without requiring professional services, demonstrating an active product roadmap, and maintaining reliable customer support. Additionally, our platform had to meet all the must-have capabilities, such as measuring the health and performance of applications from the user point of view, real user monitoring (RUM), and synthetic transaction monitoring (STM).

Gartner recognized us for our vision and innovation, noting that “Catchpoint’s innovation and market responsiveness demonstrate a clear understanding of client needs, particularly around modern distributed cloud-based applications.” This validates the hard work we’ve put into adapting and responding to the increasing complexity of the Internet as the new enterprise network. Our ability to deliver solutions that solve the challenge of gaining visibility into the Internet Stack has been a defining factor in our success.

As we reflect on this accomplishment, it’s important to remember that this isn’t the peak, only a very scenic lookout on our ongoing adventure. We view our recognition by Gartner as a Leader in the DEM space not as a badge of honor but as a reminder of the responsibility we carry. We will continue to push ourselves, innovate, and deliver value that matches the evolving needs of our customers. The best is yet to come, and I can’t wait to see what heights we reach next.

?

Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Here’s to the exciting road ahead!
