Virtue Oboro (Nigeria) - Co-Founder of Tiny Hearts Technology

Virtue is reducing deaths and disabilities for newborn babies in riverine and inaccessible communities in Nigeria by producing phototherapy devices and providing access to neonatal jaundice treatment.


These innovators, selected from a pool of 2,100 global applicants, this cohort stands out as one of the most geographically diverse in the organization's 37-year history, featuring innovators from 21 countries worldwide and represents the best of African ingenuity and social entrepreneurship. Their work spans crucial sectors, including agriculture, healthcare, education, and renewable energy.

As part of this fellowship, The team will be traveling to New York and Accra to connect with fellow innovators and discuss strategies for transforming smallholder farming in Africa. This presents a unique opportunity to reflect on what's working, what isn't, and how we can truly change the narrative for millions of farmers across the continent.
