Celebrating 5 Years with PD Ports

We are proud to celebrate a significant milestone—our 5-year anniversary with PD Ports at Teesport!

Over the past five years, this collaboration has been instrumental in helping us deliver exceptional logistics and shipping services to our clients and we couldn’t be more excited about the journey we’ve shared.

As we look back on the past five years, we are grateful for the trust and collaboration that PD Ports has brought to our partnership.?Since we've started working together, we have?seen an impressive 92 vessel calls and 9,792 units loaded!

We look forward to continuing this successful journey together, pushing boundaries and achieving even greater heights in the years to come.

NMT visiting PD Ports

Our Southampton team undertook an exciting trip to Teesport to celebrate the anniversary with our partners at PD Ports! The trip kicked off with a celebratory dinner at Rio’s Brazilian Steakhouse in Middlesbrough. The next day, we headed to Teesport Docks, where the PD Ports team pulled out all the stops!

From an exclusive tour of the docks to an unforgettable boat trip, we even got a front-row view of the Grande Spagna being loaded with our cargo! It was a wonderful experience but the real highlight was re-connecting with the amazing PD Ports team.

As a special recognition of this incredible collaboration, they gifted us a beautifully framed photo of our first vessel and cargo shipped together, now proudly displayed in our Southampton office!?

A big thank you to Craig C, Kim, Andrew and Craig M for hosting such a memorable reunion!

The working partnership began when NMT were looking to expand and began looking for a UK?port?that could handle export?flows to East and West Africa. Teesport?was chosen due to its location and for the quality of service it could provide.?

NMT uses quarter ramp RoRo vessels, operating on the bulks terminal at Teesport.?

There are vessel calls approximately every six to eight weeks and, in the first five years of the partnership, Teesport?has shipped more than 9,000 units.?
