Celebrating 5 Years of Lucrative Communications

On the 31st of August 2023, We at Lucrative Communications celebrated our 5th Anniversary. It’s such a great milestone for us as a South African PR Agency, I am proud of my decision to start our Agency 5 years ago.

When I started Lucrative Communications I wanted to tell stories that matter on trustworthy and mass media. The idea of working with the likes of SABC Radio, Daily Sun, Sowetan, SABC News, and more was just a dream that was born and this year we worked on one of the most significant annual events ‘The Isixhosa Music Festival’ where we had the privilege to showcase our PR, Marketing & Advertising skills at peak.

In our 5 years of operation, we have had the privilege to work with Public Figures like Ringo Madlingozi, Albert ‘Ibokwe’, Myrah Molokomme ‘Ruth, actress on Skeemsaam’, Leezy Lindokuhle, Jimmy Landrose, and more. When we opened our doors, our main focus was on Artists, Personal Brands, and public figures and it was in 2019 when we got our very first Business client.

Since then we have dominated the B2B space which has led us to provide Corporate Public Relations, where we manage your Brand image and identity and build your brand resilience through content and copywriting that conveys trust and inspires brand loyalty.

We have great experience in Music PR and corporate PR and expertise in Publicity Management. It has been a challenge working in Media Relations but it is so worth it. The joy I feel when I receive that call from a journalist confirming that the TV Interview you requested is happening.

When our first Daily Sun feature was published, the disbelief in my eyes was undeniable. Months and years later I have managed to arrange several published articles and interviews, Media Relations & Publicity Management is surprisingly my favourite part about being PR.

This year alone we have been nominated twice for prominent awards, of which on the 2nd one “She Awards Africa” we are still in the race amongst other Women Business owners from different parts of Africa. We are truly grateful for the recognition and empowerment to go further.

In my 5 years of being an Entrepreneur here is what I’ve learnt.

1.???? When you get an idea, try not to share it with too many people as this may crush your idea before you get a chance to execute it.

2.???? Invest in PR or Marketing for your business if you want to make it in the long run, because as we all know business has its highs and lows, and sometimes having a great digital footprint and reputation can keep you first in mind to many potential clients/customers.

3.???? Find your Unique Selling Point and use it to grow your brand identity, instead of copying what already exists in the market.

4.???? The key to growing your business is planning for the long term, you should not remain a start-up for too long, grow your network and your business and create a brand that will live for decades to come.

5.???? If you’re the CEO or Founder, it is your job to advocate for your business and brand. Define and redefine what your business does and what makes your service provision better than the competitor.

Last but not least, STOP THINKING SMALL!

Think Big! Go for your wildest dreams & and create a Legacy.

More than anything I’d like to take this moment to thank all our clients from the beginning until now for believing in us as a PR Agency and trusting us with their brand. Allowing us to create and curate stories that become a part of your overall image, it’s truly an honour.

Our biggest goal as an Agency is to become the most recommended and relevant Agency globally. We do however would love to work with more local brands and tell South African Stories to South Africa and beyond.

Thank you to my Wolf Queen subscribers for reading, engaging, and inspiring me to keep on writing. I love you all. xoxo

What would you like me to talk about next?
