Celebrating 5 Women Who are Building a Bold Future for Wipro

Back in 2020, Wipro began a major transformation. We realized that, to keep pace with rapidly changing industries, markets, and to continue delivering value to our customers, we would need to fully embrace change, even prioritize it.

To inculcate a strong growth mindset across the organization, we developed several frameworks and a five-point strategy:

1.?????Accelerate growth

2.?????Strengthen client partnerships

3.?????Lead with business solutions

4.?????Build talent at scale and reinforce a high-performance culture

5.?????Simplify our operating model

In honor of International Women’s Day on March 8, I’d like to acknowledge several women who have been instrumental in building a bold future for Wipro by bringing our values to life while helping us achieve the ambitious goals we’ve set for ourselves.

The following women are model leaders, promoting innovation and communication, stewardship, and customer-centricity. They truly embody #BeTheChange. Through their work with employees, customers, and other Wipro leaders, they’re strengthening the Wipro brand and helping it grow.

Stephanie Trautman — Chief Growth Officer

Stephanie is a strong leader and amazing team builder, strengthening relationships internally and externally and igniting growth across Wipro.?She works closely with Wipro clients, sales teams, and hyper-growth partners to create solutions that help them transform their businesses. Unlocking value across the ecosystem, she is able to deliver exceptional client outcomes seamlessly. She is sharpening Wipro’s brand and market focus with solutions clients need most such as cybersecurity, cloud, AI and sustainability. Her team works closely with the analyst community, heightening awareness of Wipro’s capabilities and strategies for growth.

A champion of diversity and inclusion, Stephanie leads by example with a very diverse team at Wipro. She hopes to inspire all people to access their full potential and strives to support them in pursuing their ambitions, including leadership positions. Greater diversity, in particular more women in leadership roles and senior positions, means diverse perspectives, more innovation, more growth — for Wipro and our clients. Stephanie is proving that inclusive talent development benefits everyone, and that the payoffs can be significant.

Subha Tatavarti — Chief Technology Officer

Subha believes that culture, talent, and a compelling vision are key to a successful organization, and she is passionate about aligning Wipro’s teams around a shared vision for the future. As CTO, much of her focus is on establishing Wipro as a dominant technology partner by increasing competency, capabilities, customer-centricity, and leading with business solutions. She is investing in research and development, building platforms and software assets that stand out from the competition, and employing more creative problem-solving for client engagements.

Subha supports innovative thinking among teams by encouraging healthy debate to push ideas to the next level and creating safe spaces for sharing and collaborating. Listening is very important, she says, especially for decision-makers and people in leadership roles. “As leaders, we need to be making space for good ideas.”

This kind of leadership is sure to encourage bold ideas that will catapult Wipro into a new league of tech innovators. I can’t wait to see what Subha and the technology office have in store!

Suzanne Dann — Senior Vice President of Capital Markets & Insurance

Suzanne is helping Wipro build a high-performance culture, leading with a client-first approach across her sector. She has reset the strategy to lead with an industry lens, engaging clients to discuss how they are addressing industry challenges and how Wipro can serve them better.

As part of her focus on client outcomes,?Suzanne is encouraging greater collaboration amongst Wipro teams. She has formed a diverse team of experienced leaders, combining both internal and external talent to ensure positive outcomes for our clients.?Suzanne believes high-performing teams are ones that are “stretched and supported.” Challenge is important to keep things interesting and rewarding, but teams need enough support to feel capable of meeting these challenges without being overwhelmed.?

Suzanne models exceptional leadership by being a hands-on problem solver and building trust. Leaders like Suzanne, who are focused on building trust, make Wipro a better place to work, help us move forward, and strengthen our company culture as we scale. Her leadership across Americas 2 for Diversity and Inclusions brings her experience building successful diverse teams to Wipro and is already positively impacting the organization.

Kimberly Watson — Country Head & Managing Director, Wipro Canada

As Country Head for Wipro Canada, Kim is passionate about strengthening employee experience, client experience, and business growth.

?Since joining Wipro, Kim has been instrumental in shaping our business in the region, helping us sharpen our focus and attract top talent. She has been super focused on co-creating the right strategy to enable fast -paced growth for Wipro Canada and ensuring successful execution of that strategy, particularly by building brand awareness, creating the right team structure, focusing on major transformation and modernization engagements with clients, and collaborating with key alliance partners. Kim is a hands-on leader who believes that the magic happens when teammates are engaged and focused on client outcomes.

?Kim believes that diversity and inclusion are the two pillars of a high-performance culture, and that businesses must develop a?workplace that truly values both.

?Erika Bartoldus — Vice President & Global Account Executive

Erika is a senior leader within Wipro’s North America Manufacturing Sector, taking care of one of our top client partnerships. She is leading the sector’s DEI charter and is an executive sponsor of Wipro’s Black Alliance.

Erika believes in a diverse, equitable and inclusive world, and leads by example: always with an open door, open mind, and open heart. Whether it is mentoring aspiring leaders, collaborating with team members and clients to solve tough business challenges, or lending a hand when it is needed the most, Erika stays engaged and committed. At Wipro, Erika is leveraging this mindset and her experience to build an environment that is inclusive, engaging, and conducive to stronger, more client-centric teams.

It’s inspiring to work alongside these women. Their focus on driving high-performance, innovation, and employee engagement aligns wonderfully with Wipro’s core values and is enabling a bolder future for everyone. I’m excited to see what the future holds and look forward to being a part of their teams.

I hope you all find inspiration from these amazing women and are encouraged to #BeTheChange. Each one of us can contribute towards building a sustainable future for everyone and helping #BreakTheBias.

Angan Guha - terrific to see you share your thoughts and advocate for the women leaders of wipro today. The wipro I spent over a decade in was a fierce advocate of gender diversity and inclusion and fantastic to see that commitment become even more vocal and visible!
