Celebrating 5 Incredible Years at Microsoft

Today marks a significant milestone in my career: five amazing years at Microsoft. Reflecting on this journey, I am filled with a sense of gratitude and accomplishment. I still remember writing my first LinkedIn article after completing six months here, sharing my excitement and optimism about joining one of the world's leading tech companies. Now, five years later, I am thrilled to share my journey with you.

When I joined Microsoft, it was just three months before another life-changing event: the birth of my daughter. As she approaches her fifth birthday, I am reminded of how both she and my career at Microsoft have grown and evolved together. These past five years have been a whirlwind of change and growth, both personally and professionally.

One of the most challenging periods during this time was navigating through the COVID-19 pandemic. This unprecedented crisis tested our resilience and adaptability. However, with the incredible support of my colleagues and the company's commitment to our well-being, we managed to not just survive but thrive. This journey has been nothing short of amazing, and I am deeply grateful to the people who have helped me sail through all the challenges and guided me toward my goals.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been a part of this journey: my managers, peers, mentors, customers, partners and friends. Some of these relationships have grown into close friendships that I cherish and hope to keep forever. Your support and guidance have been invaluable. One of the most beautiful and inspiring aspects of my time at Microsoft has been the constant opportunity for learning and self-improvement. Over these five years, I've had the chance to change roles twice, with each transition bringing fresh challenges and avenues for growth. Most recently, I stepped into a role that I had dreamed of even before joining Microsoft, and achieving this goal has been incredibly rewarding.
