As we step into September 17th, we proudly mark a significant milestone at Schmersal Global Competence Center (SGCC) – three incredible years of achievements, growth, and relentless innovation. What began as a part of Schmersal’s manufacturing operations has evolved into a dynamic and independent entity, officially established in 2021. This transition from a manufacturing unit to our own distinct entity has been driven by a visionary spark from 2018 and has blossomed into a vibrant community of 55 exceptional minds, all united by a passion for pushing boundaries and advancing innovation.

Our Highlights in 2024

In 2024, SGCC teams achieved significant milestones across various domains. The Digital Team expanded its software capabilities, delivering key functionalities and launching new solutions for customers. The Embedded Team enhanced system efficiency by developing critical platform components. The ALM Team successfully delivered a significant project with a dedicated team spread across multiple regions. Our Infrastructure Team successfully executed major projects, established strategic partnerships, and ensured on-time, budget-efficient deliveries. The SAP Team streamlined key processes, resulting in substantial financial savings and positive feedback, while advancing essential business initiatives. Collectively, these accomplishments reflect our commitment to innovation, collaboration, and delivering value to our stakeholders.
