Celebrating 29 Years of Being on the Web

What started as a simple HTML website back in 1995, when the internet was still in its infancy, has grown into something far bigger and longer lasting than I could have ever imagined.
When I first launched the site, it was a way to share my thoughts on the rapidly changing world of technology. Back then, the web was new, coding was a mystery to many, and even the idea of having a personal website was cutting-edge. I had no idea that this little corner of the internet would evolve alongside the web itself, keeping pace with everything from the rise of social media to the explosion of AI and data science.
Over the years, I’ve covered a wide range of topics—from mobile development in the early 2000s to data-driven insights and machine learning in more recent years. My journey into data science really began around the early 2010s, when I attended a Microsoft Data Science Summit. That event was a game-changer for me. It was clear to me that AI and big data were going to reshape not just the tech industry, but the world at large. I wanted Frank’s World to be a space where developers, data enthusiasts, and curious minds could come to learn, explore, and get inspired by this rapidly advancing field.
One of the highlights for me was launching Frank’s World TV on YouTube and the Data Driven podcast. I love sharing insights in different formats and interacting with a broader community. Through these channels, I’ve had the privilege of interviewing experts, breaking down complex concepts, and helping others navigate the same tech-driven world that continues to evolve around us.
Looking back, I’m amazed at how far technology has come—from dial-up modems and static web pages to AI agents and cloud computing. And through it all, Frank’s World has been there, adapting and growing. The site’s focus has shifted over time, reflecting my own evolving interests—from general tech and development to the more niche and exciting fields of AI and data science. But one thing has always remained constant: my passion for technology and my desire to share what I learn with the world.
